SUMMARY:Asian American & Pacific Islander History in Ventura County: A Lecture by Lily Anne Welty-Tamai\, Ph.D.
DESCRIPTION:The presentation discusses the settlement of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Ventura County beginning in the late 19th century and through the 20th century and how their lives centered around establishing businesses\, family\, community\, and religious spaces to worship. Kindly RSVP for the free lecture presentation on AAPI History in Ventura County with Professor Lily Anne Welty Tamai. The event will be held on Wednesday\, October 25\, at 5pm at CSUCI 1 University Drive\, Camarillo in the Broome Library Room 1360. \nFree with RSVP \n
